THINK PINK: OUR FAVORITE WAYS TO INCORPORATE PINK

2023 was the year of The Era’s Tour and The Barbie Movie so it’s no surprise that we are still thinking about pink these days! Plus, it’s February which means that we are feeling extra pinky with Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day around the corner! While many might associate the holiday with the color of love - red, we prefer its sweet and softer side - pink. Pink has become a trendy interior design color - it’s fun, feminine and makes a subtle statement. From blush to mauve, and other rose colored shades in between, pink has made its way into our design projects. Pink has the ability to be youthful yet sophisticated, feminine yet gender neutral, and fun yet polished. Gone are the days where pink was exclusive to nurseries and teenaged girl bedrooms, and we say HOORAY to that! As Lizzo says in her song, “Pink, goes with everything” and we couldn’t agree more!

Although it’s simple to accessorize your home with pops of pink decor, there are other ways to incorporate pink if you want to go a bit more bold. Whether on walls or a ceiling, in furniture, window treatments or artwork, pink can anchor any space. We are sharing some of our favorite ways that we have incorporated pink in our design projects in Charlotte!

Rose-Colored Rooms

We don’t mind looking at the world through rose-colored glasses; it makes it a lot prettier! So why not paint a room pink to transform the space into an inviting place of positivity? We love incorporating pink into spaces to add a touch of chicness. We recommend using a blush color if you want to add a softer hue to your space that’s warm and inviting while still feeling sophisticated. We pair blush with many colors but some of our favorites are navy, white and gold.

Pink-spired Art

Looking to add pink into your space but don’t want to paint an entire room? We have a simple solution: add artwork! Artwork is the perfect way to incorporate elements of pink into any room. Look for pieces that have shades of pink with other colors that tie into your space to coordinate together. Whether small or large, artwork elevates any space and makes it extra interesting, too!

Permanently Pink

Everything is just prettier in pink! We are not suggesting that everything in your home should be pink, but if you’re looking for a way to incorporate pink in a more permanent way, consider adding a piece of pink furniture or a window treatment. If you want a more delicate space, select a lighter pink or blush tone. If you’re looking to make a statement, opt for a bold and more saturated shade like magenta.

Touch of Pink

You don’t have to start big and bold when it comes to pink. Just sprinkling a touch of pink here and there in your home decor goes a long way. Simple ideas to incorporate pink into your home with little commitment are by adding pink books into a stack on an end table or built-ins, in fresh floral or a vase, in a piece of artwork, or you can simply display your favorite pink rosé on your home bar!
