Firethorne Kitchen and Bathrooms
Our Firethorne project has been a few years in the making and we’re thrilled to finally share the full transformation! This home renovation unfolded in two phases. We began with the kitchen as the first phase in 2022. The space was one of our favorite transformations and was featured in local Charlotte publication, SouthPark Magazine.
In 2024, we returned to Firethorne Country Club to complete phase two, which focused on remodeling multiple bathroom spaces including the primary bathroom, Jack & Jill bathroom, guest bath and gym bathroom.
There’s no greater compliment than being invited back by a client to continue enhancing their home and we couldn’t be more grateful to refresh even more spaces.
Kitchen
In phase one of this project, we collaborated with Charlotte builder, Watershed Builders, to reimagine and elevate the kitchen into a space that is as beautiful as it is functional. Our clients envisioned a light and airy aesthetic but wanted to avoid traditional white cabinetry. To achieve this, we selected neutral gray-toned cabinets that extend all the way to the ceiling, creating a sleek, polished look while maximizing vertical storage.
Key upgrades included a custom-built island paired with a mitered-edge quartz countertop, state-of-the-art Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and decorative pendant lights that add a touch of visual interest over the island. A new fireclay sink, updated plumbing fixtures, and modern hardware added the perfect finishing touches.
To further enhance the design, we introduced standout elements like floor-to-ceiling cabinets framing the range, glass cabinet doors ideal for seasonal displays, and a stunning herringbone tile backsplash for added texture.
One of our favorite features is the organization that happened inside of the cabinets. Every inch of space is maximized with features like spice racks, a paper-towel drawer and roll-outs for easy access to all of their hard-to-reach items.
Primary Bathroom
For phase two of the project we partnered with Charlotte based, Nordic Builders, to transform four bathrooms, including the primary bathroom. Our clients requested a space that was low maintenance and felt like a spa. We achieved this by replacing the heavy and dark double vanity with a soft blue one, complete with a quartz countertop. We also selected porcelain tile for the floor and shower walls that mirror natural stone, but require minimal upkeep. We ran the main floor tile in a classic herringbone pattern and designed a custom built-in soaking tub for ultimate relaxation.
Secondary Bathrooms
Phase two of this project also included remodeling the Jack & Jill bathroom, guest bathroom, and the gym bathroom (not pictured). While the layouts of these spaces remained the same, they received a much needed refresh. In the Jack & Jill bathroom, we chose a bold blue vanity to make a statement, while the guest bathroom features a vanity in a soft, elegant gray. Updated mirrors, lighting and plumbing fixtures were also added, complementing the new spaces perfectly.
